Career Development Scholarships

NIGP is excited to announce a $1,250 scholarship opportunity for members looking to advance their careers through the NIGP’s Concierge and Pathways programs. Funded by Sourcewell, scholarship recipients will work with the NIGP Concierge team to create a personalized Career Development Plan. The scholarship can be applied toward eligible educational courses through June 30, 2026. 

This scholarship is designed to support individuals who may not otherwise be able to participate due to financial constraints—helping ensure that every member has the opportunity to grow and succeed. 

We are grateful to our government partner Sourcewell for funding this scholarship and aiding NIGP’s mission to develop, support, and promote our members.

Individuals are eligible for this NIGP scholarship award if they meet the following criteria: 

• Member of NIGP National (agency or individual) in good standing. 
• Have not received any of the following NIGP scholarship awards (please note scholarships received for Learning labs and VCON are excluded):
  • 2025 Leadership Summit (Edge or Impact Scholarship) 
  • 2024/2025 Career Development Scholarship 
  • 2025 Forum Scholarship (In person or Virtual) 

The deadline to submit applications is OCTOBER 5, 2025, 11:59pm EST.
